How Obama changed my life. Day Four

It got cold again today and not just outside.  Today Mr. President signed the executive order to allow funding for international family planning and abortions.  This must be part of his master plan to keep the Obamaerica safe from foreign children. Those pesky little things just grow up and keep on having more children and so on and so on.

Some of them even wind up in Guantanamo and then need to have free legal services, room and board, prayer rugs and stuff.  That is way more expensive than letting them live.  I would have thought that all the data showing how bad abortion has been for the "African American" community that he would have a slight inclination to view abortion politics with a skeptical eye.  However, he obviously knows something that none of us know.  True genius in action.

After the $170 million inauguration , I guess the drapes were not good enough in the White House.  Now that race is no longer an issue, should we get a new name for the White House?  Maybe the "Absence of all color house"?

Did anyone see that Newsweek today that shows "Obama's America" on the cover? They must be reading my blog!  Obamaerica running wild!

Obama change-o-meter currently at  a negative 10 for keeping us safe from children.

How Obama changed my life. Day Three.

Wow! The days seem to be going by quickly. I can hardly believe that there are only as few as 1458 days left of Obamaerica!

Obama must have been cold yesterday, he sure turned the heat up today.  It reached 61degrees here today when the average for January is 33 degrees.

Let's see.  If we need $1.5 trillion to potentially drop global temperatures by .5 degrees over fifty years, how much do we need to cool things 22 degrees in one day?  Who could take on such on big job?  Obama?  No....  Haliburton!  I am sure Dick Cheney has time to get that set up...

Stock market wise Obama still can not quite figure out if the rich still have too much money or not.  Today he took back a little of what gave away yesterday.  This is getting confusing for us little people.

My Obamaerica change-o-meter is at 1.1. The point one is for the executive order that limits White House employee raises and lobbying by former administration officials.  He must be planning on some quick employee turnover to have done that so quickly.  I can think of about three different items that he said he would do as "my first act as president".  Of course in this case it was to do the oath of office a second time! (That way he did not have to use that pesky bible that threw him off the first time).

Thanks for reading!  Please post your Obamaerica change-o-meter scores.

How Obama changed my life. Day two.

Today is January 21, 2009.

Is it just me or did the Sun come up a little earlier today?  He must be really bright to generate that much light.  I wonder if he has to be awake to do that?  What happens if he naps?  Doesn't more Sun make the world warmer?  Aren't we trying to avoid that?  Come to think of it, it is warmer today.

I will try and do my part to cut down on  my personal CO2 production by breathing less.  Ready..set....go..
breath
pause
breath
pause
pause
breath

I have just decreased my output by 50%!  Imagine what could happen if everyone did this!  The whole world could be like Canada in days.  I wonder if we can get some of that free health care stuff?

My Obamaerica change-o-meter is at 1.

Is that the change you can believe in?

Feel free to post your change-o-meter levels.

How Obama changed my life. Day One.

Stock market down 330 points to 7950.  Must be part of the plan to take money from the rich.
Gas price $1.70 per gallon.  BHO must have slipped on this one.  I sure he will get it back up to $4 a gallon later.
TV not so good tonight due to Obama inauguration.  Must be his plan to encourage reading.
Planet not very warm today.  Global warming must have been stopped right after the swearing in!
I was not a victim today!  Must be the world peace!
Wasn't I supposed to get a middle class government check today?  When do those start?

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings in Obamaerica!

Note:  Only 1460 posts to go. (Unless he wins again then add another 1461).

American mistakes.

On Barack Obama's trip to Europe he said that America had "made mistakes".  Today the House of Representatives voted to apologize for slavery.  I would like to make a list of my own things for which America should apologize. This is not in order of importance, just a brainstorm.

  1. Not building a Petroleum refinery in the last 30 years.
  2. Decreasing instead of increasing domestic oil production for the last 30 years..
  3. Not building any Nuclear power plants in 30 years.
  4. Not using good forest management to prevent major yearly fires.
  5. Not enforcing the border.
  6. Allowing political correctness to exist.
  7. Having laws and government programs based on the color of your skin.
  8. Having laws and government programs based on your x and y chromosomes.
  9. Having laws that judge your thoughts not your actions.
  10. Having a tax system that discourages success.
  11. Basing any policy on global warming.
  12. Taking any reference to God out of public life.
  13. Having many school systems that fail.
  14. Going from a melting pot to a salad bowl.
  15. Forgetting that freedom, liberty and personal property rights and capitalism are what made this country great.
  16. Getting away from State’s rights and toward centralized government.
  17. Letting our foreign policy be weak enough to let 9-11 happen.
  18. Everything action Jimmy Carter took as President.
  19. The ACLU.
  20. Jane Fonda.
  21. The state of journalism today.
  22. Taking away trans-fats.
  23. Café standards in cars.
  24. Roe versus Wade.
  25. Gun free zones.
